Police played in the inaugural Thai Premier League in 1996, but have been something of a yo-yo team since. They’ve been relegated and promoted 3 times, spending 9 seasons in Division 1, though they’ve picked up 3 Division 1 titles along the way. In the top-flight, however they’ve struggled, with a 7th place in 2000 their best finish to date. Another ‘establishment’ club, they’ve taken some time to adjust to the modern era, but have taken more professional steps in recent seasons.
